Privacy policy

Who is responsible for your information
Sensei Touch LLC operates senseitouch.com and is responsible for the personal information we use to run our store and serve our customers. In this policy, “SenseiTouch”, “we” and “our” refer to Sensei Touch LLC.
Our postal address is 1317 Edgewater Drive, 405, Orlando, FL 32804, United States.
You can contact us at support@senseitouch.com. Please mention “Privacy request” in the subject line so we can direct your message to the right person.
This policy explains what information we collect when you browse our store, place an order or contact us, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
Orders and payments. When you buy from us, we collect the information needed to process and deliver your order, including your name, contact details, billing and delivery addresses, items ordered and transaction details. Payment providers handle the payment information you submit at checkout. The information available to us depends on the payment method and provider.
Enquiries and product requests. If you contact us, we receive your message, contact details and any information or files you choose to provide. This can include an order number, photographs relating to a product issue, or material submitted for a custom order. Please send only what is needed to handle your request.
Marketing preferences. If you sign up for marketing, we collect your contact details, subscription preferences and a record of your choice. Where permitted, we also use interactions with our messages to understand which communications are useful.
Use of the store. Our website and connected services can collect technical and shopping information, such as your IP address, browser and device information, approximate location, referral source, pages and products viewed, cart activity and purchases. Collection depends on the features you use, your privacy choices and the requirements that apply in your location.
We receive information directly from you, through your interactions with the website, and from providers involved in payments, delivery and other services used to complete your order. Advertising services can also report interactions with our advertisements, subject to the relevant privacy settings.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- process payments, fulfil orders and arrange delivery;
- send order confirmations, delivery updates and other service messages;
- answer questions, handle returns and resolve product issues;
- operate the website, shopping cart and checkout;
- protect customers and our business against fraud, misuse and security incidents;
- keep accounting records and meet legal obligations;
- send marketing that you have agreed to receive, or that we are otherwise permitted to send;
- understand how the store and our advertising perform, subject to the required privacy choices.
You need to provide the information necessary for payment and delivery if you want to place an order. Marketing subscriptions and consent to optional tracking are separate choices and are not a condition of buying from us.
Our legal grounds for using information
Where European Economic Area or UK data protection law applies, we rely on the following grounds:
| Purpose | Legal ground |
|---|---|
| Processing an order, taking payment, delivery, returns and related service messages | Performing our contract with you, or taking steps you request before an order |
| Keeping records required by tax, accounting and other applicable laws | Complying with a legal obligation |
| Protecting the store, preventing fraud, handling general enquiries and resolving disputes | Our legitimate interests in running a secure business and serving customers, balanced against your rights |
| Optional analytics or advertising technologies where consent is required | Your consent |
| Email or text marketing where consent is required | Your consent |
If we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before you withdrew consent. We do not treat a visit to the website or a purchase as consent to optional marketing or tracking.
Services that support our store
We share information with providers that help us operate the website, process orders and serve customers. The information involved depends on their role and the service you use.
Shopify hosts our store and provides the commerce platform. Shopify processes information to operate its services and, for certain services, uses information for its own purposes as described in its Consumer Privacy Policy. You can also use Shopify’s privacy portal to review choices and submit requests concerning Shopify’s own processing.
Storefront services, including EComposer and iCart, support page presentation, the shopping cart and related features. Information needed for these features is separate from optional measurement or marketing associated with them.
Klaviyo is connected to our store to support customer communications and marketing functions. The information used for a particular message depends on its purpose, your subscription status and the enabled features. Signing up to one channel does not automatically subscribe you to another.
Our website also includes Klaviyo’s on-site tools, which support functions such as sign-up forms and measurement of website activity. Any optional tracking associated with these tools is subject to the choices described in the cookies section.
Meta’s Facebook and Instagram integration uses Meta Pixel, advanced matching and Conversions API for advertising measurement and related advertising functions. Depending on the information available and your privacy choices, Meta can receive website and shopping events, online identifiers and matching information such as your name, email address, phone number and location. Advanced matching helps connect these events with Meta users. Information can be sent from your browser and directly between servers. Server-side transmission does not remove the need to respect applicable privacy choices.
Payment, fulfilment and delivery providers receive information needed to take payment, prepare an order, deliver it or handle a return. Operational providers can also help us manage orders and maintain records.
Our installed order and delivery connections include MabangErp3, HyperSKU and ShipOut. They have access permissions for customer and order information relevant to these functions. syncX Order Export supports exporting order records, and Filemonk supports digital product delivery. The information used depends on which service handles the order or operation.
Other installed tools include Powerful Form Builder for forms and PostPilot for postal marketing. Their access can include contact details and, where relevant, order information. Installing a tool does not mean every customer receives that service or is included in a campaign. Where we use postal marketing, you can ask us to stop it at any time.
We may disclose information to professional advisers, authorities or other recipients where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights. We limit disclosures to the information relevant to the purpose.
Cookies and your choices
Cookies and similar technologies help the website remember a cart, keep sessions secure and provide other essential functions. Optional technologies can help measure visits, improve the shopping experience or support advertising.
Where a cookie banner or privacy preference control is available, you can use it to make or change the choices it offers. You can also contact us at support@senseitouch.com to withdraw consent or object to advertising-related use of your information. Visiting the website does not itself amount to consent.
Your browser provides controls for blocking or deleting cookies. Blocking essential cookies can affect the cart, sign-in or checkout. Browser controls alone do not stop all server-to-server sharing. For Meta’s own controls, see its Off-Meta activity information; for Shopify’s own processing, use its privacy portal. These provider controls are separate from a request made directly to SenseiTouch.
Cookie choices and email or text subscriptions are managed separately. Changing one does not automatically change the other.
Marketing messages
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message. If you receive text marketing from us, follow the opt-out instructions provided with the message. You can also contact us about your preferences.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop service messages needed for an existing order, such as a delivery update or a response to your enquiry. We may keep a limited record of your opt-out so that we can respect it.
How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, taking account of legal recordkeeping requirements and the need to resolve disputes.
- Order and payment records: for order administration, returns, applicable accounting and tax requirements, and relevant claim periods.
- Customer enquiries and submitted files: for handling the request and any related follow-up, complaint or claim. Files that are no longer needed should not remain in routine use.
- Marketing records: for the duration of the relevant subscription or other permitted marketing relationship. A limited suppression record may be kept after an opt-out.
- Website and advertising data: according to the purpose and the retention settings of the relevant service. The duration varies by technology and service; contact us if you need information about a particular record or technology.
Retention is assessed against these purposes and requirements. You can contact us to request deletion or ask about the retention of a particular category of information. A deletion request may not remove records that we must retain by law or need for a legal claim.
International processing
SenseiTouch is based in the United States. Using our store can involve processing information outside your country, including through Shopify and other providers.
Where European or UK transfer rules apply, transfers must be covered by an applicable adequacy decision or another valid safeguard, such as approved contractual clauses. The mechanism depends on the recipient and the transfer. You can contact us for details of the safeguards relevant to your information and how to obtain a copy.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the law that applies, you can ask to access your information, correct it, have it deleted, restrict its use or receive a portable copy. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling, and you can object to direct marketing at any time.
Where applicable, you also have rights relating to decisions made solely by automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects. These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions in the relevant law.
To make a request, contact Sensei Touch LLC using the contact details in this policy. We may need information to verify your identity before responding. We will explain if we cannot fulfil a request in full.
If you are in the EEA or UK, we normally respond within one month. If a permitted extension is necessary because of the complexity or number of requests, we will explain the reason within that month.
You can complain to a relevant data protection authority without first contacting us. In the EEA, this can be the authority where you live or work, or where an alleged infringement took place. UK residents can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Additional rights under US state laws
Depending on your state and whether its privacy law applies to our business, you may have additional rights to know, access, correct or delete information, obtain a copy, or opt out of targeted advertising, sale or sharing as those terms are defined by that law. Advertising-related disclosures can fall within these definitions even when no money is exchanged.
You can send requests to support@senseitouch.com. Where applicable, you can use an authorised agent and appeal a decision on your request by contacting us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights. The advertising section above describes the Meta integration; it should not be read as a statement that no advertising-related sharing takes place.
Keeping information secure
We use appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect personal information. Access should be limited to people and providers who need it for their work. No website or method of transmission can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our store is intended for a general audience, not specifically for children. If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us so that we can review the circumstances and take appropriate action.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices or legal requirements change. The published version will show its latest revision date. If a change requires additional notice or a new consent request, we will provide it before applying that change.
